I'm here for you

Welcome.

Are you looking for legal advice?

Are you looking for someone who can simplify your life or help you with a difficult situation? Someone who will read through your documents carefully and explain their content to you in plain language? Someone whose profession is to stay up-to-date with legislation and who will inform you of any changes which are important for you?

I can be that person for you.

I want to be your counsellor and advisor, and I have a professional duty to confidentiality.

With this philosophy in mind, I will find the best solution for your individual needs.

Hence, I want to welcome you at the professional website of Ann Henckens, attorney-at-law.

About me.

I graduated in July 2014 from the Catholic University of Leuven. On 1 September 2014 I was admitted to the Bar.

In 2015 I graduated with a Master of Law from the University of Queensland (Brisbane, Australia).

Since September 2018 I am also an accredited mediator in civil and commercial affairs.

Since 1 May 2017 I have been working at the association RENSON LEX, located in Brussels (1040 Etterbeek). This association consists of 5 associates and motivated and enthusiast lawyers, each one with their own speciality. Most members of the team can speak and write fluently in the three most important languages in our country: Dutch, French and English.

For complex cases I may work on your file in collaboration with a colleague.

Vision.

  1. Personally, I believe that a lawyer’s task is to guide you in finding a solution for a specific legal problem. Besides that, a lawyer takes over the administrative burden, clarifies and supports you through this process.

My motivation to become a lawyer was inspired by a calling to fulfil the important tasks described above and to help people solve the problems they inevitably encounter in life.

I believe it is important that you are treated in a just and fair way and that you receive the proper solution for your problem. I am at your service.
